Shipping policy

ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Order processing time is separate from shipping time and is not included in any delivery estimate.

  • Order preparation time: up to three (3) business days
  • Packing days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Orders received after cut-off are packed on the next packing day at 1:00pm AEST

Shipping timeframes do not commence until tracking information has been issued and the parcel has been dispatched.

Please note: While we plan and aim to dispatch orders on our scheduled packing days, these are not guaranteed. In the event of unforeseen circumstances — such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or other emergencies — orders will be shipped at the next available opportunity.

We appreciate your understanding that our dispatch schedule represents our intended plan, but circumstances beyond our control may affect the timing.


COMBINING ORDERS

Please ensure you carefully review your cart before completing checkout.

We do not combine separate orders. If multiple orders are placed and shipping is paid on each order at checkout, the orders will be shipped exactly as purchased and will not be combined. Excess shipping charges will not be refunded.

Once an order has been placed, it is considered final in relation to shipping selection.

If you need to add additional items to your order, you must contact us via email as soon as possible. We can only add items to an existing order if the package has not yet been shipped. Once the order has been dispatched, no changes can be made.

Please take care at checkout, as requests to combine orders will not be approved.


Order Amendments After Checkout

Any request to amend an order after checkout — including but not limited to changing sizes, changing the delivery address, adding items, or altering products — is extremely difficult for our team, as orders are processed quickly and stock is allocated immediately.

If your order has not yet been shipped, we may be able to accommodate changes at our discretion; however, a $10 amendment fee will apply to cover administrative handling and stock adjustments.

Amendments are not guaranteed and are subject to stock availability and processing status. Once an order has been shipped, no changes can be made.

If you need to add additional items, you must email us as soon as possible. Additions can only be made if the order has not yet been dispatched and will incur the $10 amendment fee.

Please take care at checkout, as post-purchase changes are limited and subject to fees.


DELIVERY TIMES, EXPRESS SHIPPING & CARRIER LIABILITY

All delivery timeframes provided by DMDC, including those for Express Post, are estimates only and are supplied by third-party shipping carriers. These timeframes do not constitute a guarantee of delivery within any specific timeframe.

Once an order has been dispatched, DMDC has no control over delivery times, transit delays, routing, customs clearance, carrier processing, weather events, peak shipping periods, or any other circumstances affecting delivery. DMDC shall not be liable for any delay in delivery once the parcel has left our possession.

Express Post Disclaimer

Selection of Express Post applies only to the shipping transit method after dispatch and does not guarantee:

  • Same-day or next-day dispatch
  • Priority order processing
  • Delivery by a specific date
  • Delivery within the carrier’s estimated timeframe

Express shipping does not override standard order processing times.


SHIPPING FEES & REFUNDS

All shipping fees paid, including Express Post fees, are non-refundable, regardless of delivery speed, carrier delays, missed estimated delivery windows, or customer dissatisfaction with delivery time.

No refunds, credits, or compensation will be provided for shipping delays under any circumstances.

Shipping refunds or replacements will be considered only where a parcel is officially declared lost in transit by the shipping carrier following completion of their investigation. Delays, extended transit times, customs holds, or lack of tracking updates do not constitute a lost parcel.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Delivery Estimates (Estimates Only)

  • Standard International Shipping: approximately 2–3 weeks from dispatch
  • Express International Shipping: approximately 1–1.5 weeks from dispatch

These timeframes are estimates only and may be impacted by customs processing, local postal delays, or other factors outside of DMDC’s control.

International Tracking Information

All international orders shipped via Australia Post include tracking.

International customers may track their parcel via the Australia Post tracking website. Once the parcel enters the destination country, the same tracking number may also be used on the local postal carrier’s website.

Common destination carrier examples include:

  • United States: USPS
  • Canada: Canada Post
  • United Kingdom: Royal Mail

Tracking updates, scan frequency, and visibility are determined by the shipping carrier and local postal authority. Periods of inactivity in tracking are normal and do not indicate a lost parcel.


POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FEE ADJUSTMENTS

If an order requires a larger box or exceeds 1 kg, the standard shipping fee may not cover the full cost. In such cases, DMDC will calculate the actual shipping cost and invoice the customer for the difference. The invoice must be paid in full before the order is shipped.


IMPORT DUTIES, TARIFFS & TAXES

DMDC does not cover import duties, taxes, tariffs, or customs charges imposed by the destination country. All such charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are determined by local authorities.

Orders cannot be cancelled, refused, or returned due to failure or refusal to pay applicable import charges. All items are declared at full value in accordance with Australian export regulations.

United States Tariffs

All orders shipped to the United States are subject to applicable import tariffs under current U.S. government policy.

For U.S. customers, the tariff is collected at checkout and processed through Zonos, which charges DMDC per package shipped and remits payment directly to the U.S. government on the customer’s behalf.

Once an order has shipped, tariff payments are non-refundable under any circumstances. If an order is cancelled prior to shipping, the order — including the tariff — will be refunded in full.


INTERNATIONAL TROUPE ORDERS

International troupes may place orders. In-stock standard bases may be purchased directly via the website. Custom-designed bases or out-of-stock items require PayPal invoice arrangements via email or Instagram. Bases from our manufacturer have a 6–10 week production timeframe.


RESTRICTED SHIPPING ITEMS

E6000 Glue cannot be shipped via Express Domestic or any international shipping method, as it is prohibited from air transport.
